Sustainability Policy

At Hyra Ltd ("we," "our," or "us") we recognize that the natural environment is at the heart of our business. We are committed to sourcing, handling, and supplying essential oils, hydrosols, and botanical extracts in a way that promotes environmental responsibility, ethical partnerships, and long-term sustainability across the global aromatic plant industry.

Responsible Sourcing

We work with trusted growers, producers, distilleries, and supply partners who share our values of sustainable agriculture, responsible production, and traceability. Our sourcing prioritizes partners who apply organic, regenerative, or low-input cultivation practices where possible, minimize the unnecessary use of chemicals, and respect biodiversity.

For wild-harvested species, we aim to work only with suppliers who collect raw materials responsibly and seasonally, without compromising natural regeneration cycles or local ecosystems.

Traceability and Transparency

Traceability and transparency are fundamental to our operations. While documentation standards may vary between growers, distilleries, producers, and countries, we make every effort to collect and review all available technical data for each batch.

This may include Certificates of Analysis, Safety Data Sheets, IFRA certificates, Allergen reports, Organic certificates, and other relevant quality or compliance documentation, depending on the product and supplier.

Environmental Stewardship

Our environmental efforts extend beyond sourcing. We strive to minimize waste through the use of recyclable packaging, bulk container formats, and optimized logistics that help reduce unnecessary transport impact. We also seek to collaborate with suppliers who are committed to continuous environmental improvement, responsible resource use, and cleaner production practices.

Ethical and Local Partnerships

As part of our ethical commitment, we work with selected growers, family-owned farms, distilleries, and established producers across different regions of the world. We value long-term partnerships built on transparency, fair working conditions, mutual respect, and responsible business practices.

Wherever possible, we support suppliers who contribute positively to their local communities, preserve traditional cultivation and distillation knowledge, and maintain responsible relationships with seasonal workers and farming communities.

Continuous Improvement

We are continuously evaluating and improving our sustainability practices. This includes expanding our range of certified organic products, strengthening supplier due diligence, improving documentation standards, and supporting partners who invest in cleaner technologies, biodiversity protection, and responsible agricultural practices.

We also maintain open communication with our clients, providing clarity about organic certification status, country of origin, available documentation, and the reasons why certain wild-harvested or regionally specific oils may not carry certification, despite being pure and responsibly sourced.

Communication and Accountability

At Hyra, sustainability is a guiding principle that shapes every decision we make, from sourcing and packaging to partnerships and customer relations. We remain transparent about our processes and welcome feedback from clients, partners, and auditors as part of our ongoing commitment to accountability and improvement.
